Happy New Year 2011

Hello to all family, friends and loved ones. Wishing you all a Very Happy New Year from Fort Simpson NWT. All is well to start the new year, as we experienced the coldest day of the year so far last Sat. Jan. 16. 2011. It was -41C and with the
wind chill it was -50C, you could not stand it for more then 30 seconds on your skin
and it was so cold our Propane Tank was freezing to crystals, thus low heat and no hot water for a few hours, thankfully the temperature has warmed up a little, average
around -35C. That's all for now, take care and keep warm and hug one another then think of us... xo

Clear and Cold

It is the coldest night of the year so far here in Fort Simpson NWT. It is November 22, 2010 and it is -33C. This is serious cold. You do not go outside unless you are
properly dressed. The house is cracklin from time to time, just to remind you how cold it really is. To all our family and friends back home in the Perth Ontario and
Ottawa Valley area, please keep warm, and take care of one another, we miss you all.
